McCarthy went on to teach a variety of fine art classes and workshops at the Decordova Museum. Sally was fortunate to land a job as a graphic designer and illustrator right after graduating from MASS ART and it has been a passion of hers ever since.
Over the last two decades she was Owner of Mosaic Design, Inc and worked as an Art Director, Designer and Illustrator for Shields Design, ADAMS Design & Marketing Solutions and Portfolio Design, Inc. For four years she taught part time at Stonehill College and was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Wheaton College. She is now a full time Art Director for Shields Design.
